Since the US government pays money to Chinese scholars to make them “stay”. It is perfectly fine for China government to pay money to buy “secrets”. It seems very fair to me.
if china calls in the debt,the us would print mnore dollars .which would devalue the dollar and makes chinas reserves worthless.a cheaper dollar would make us exports more attractive and our economy would be rebuilt even faster as chinas cheap currency would no longer give them an advantage .a cheaper dollar would also mean our manufacturing base wouldbe rebuilt and thus a bigger economy .we win either way.u must never underestimate the power of the us to reinvent itself.we are like water .

That is not true. They do not hold any scientific positions in the US because they are nationals from other counties. Iknow this to be true because I work in the field. Because of resent spying from China. They have been down graded further to low positions outside critical industries. With in the next ten years because of abuses from countries like China, It will be hard for foriegn nationals to work of go to American institutions.
We have an obligation to support Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. Indeed any country which upholds the rights of its citizens. We cannot sacrifice them for political expediency, even if it means war with a nuclear superpower.
Dont worry about it. I was born In China and now in the States. CHINA WILL NEVER come even SLIGHTLY close to the US in terms of economy, power, and influnece. It is the result of China’s 2000 years bueracratic culture. USA will be back, altough China will still be a big part of the USA’s success.

Yes, It is True ! The US has not had any Peace for any length of time. It seem we been at war since the 1860’s It would be nice if we could live like the Swiss with a confederate form of government and at peace. We can be a Advance society as well a nationalistic .
